When to Treat It as Urgent
Not every appliance fault is an emergency, but some genuinely cannot wait. A built-in refrigerator that has stopped holding temperature puts thousands of dollars of food at risk within hours. A wine-storage unit drifting off temperature threatens a collection that took years to build. A gas range or cooktop that smells of unburned gas is a safety issue that needs immediate attention. These are the calls we prioritize.
We book urgent repairs appointment times confirmed at booking, and parts needs and availability are confirmed after model-specific diagnosis.
What to Do While You Wait
- Refrigerator or freezer: keep the doors closed to hold cold air, and move the most perishable items to a working cooler with ice. Note any error code shown on the display.
- Wine cooler: keep the door shut and the unit out of direct sun. If one zone has failed, moving the most valuable bottles to the working zone can buy time.
- Range or oven: if a burner will not light and you smell gas, stop and follow the safety steps above. Otherwise, turn the appliance off at the control.
- Dishwasher leak: stop the cycle, turn off the water supply valve under the sink, and mop up standing water to protect cabinetry and flooring.
